- Plan and elevation matching the quote revision, with module dimensions or clear span.
- Opening schedule tied to purlin and girt spacing where a frame is used.
- Anchor layout if the supplier is designing the foundation interface.
Concise requirements checklist
NorthBridge Sourcing RFQ Checklist and Method Comparison
Use this page when a reds10 search has not yet become a specification. NorthBridge Sourcing is independent and does not claim authorized dealer status. The checklist does not approve a building. It stops quotations from mixing a shell with a turnkey total.

Trade-offs to price on one basis
| What travels | A room or a stack of rooms. Ask which finishes survived the road and which are site-installed. |
|---|---|
| Constraint | Transport envelope, module weight and the crane lift plan at the destination. |
| Do not assume | That a finished interior means the foundation, stairs and utilities are in the same price. |
| What travels | Wall, floor and roof panels. Packing can be tighter than a finished room. |
|---|---|
| Constraint | Site labor, weather and the sequence that closes the envelope. |
| Do not assume | That a lower freight line equals a lower installed building. |
| What travels | A unit in a folded state. Opened length and width must be written beside the travel size. |
|---|---|
| Constraint | Hinge or connection hardware, unfolding space and the foundation interface after opening. |
| Do not assume | That a compact shipping cube is the occupied floor area. |
| What travels | Primary frame, secondary framing, and roof or wall panels as a coordinated package. |
|---|---|
| Constraint | Clear span, eave height, bay spacing, wind speed and ground snow load. |
| Do not assume | That hot-rolled and cold-formed members share one calculation set. |
Packets to request, not files hosted here
Nothing on this page is a downloadable stamp or a certificate held by NorthBridge Sourcing. Each group is a request you can paste into the brief.
- Design live load, design dead load, wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load, seismic design category.
- Code edition the shop used. Ask separately whether IBC, IRC or HUD Code is even the right regime.
- ASCE 7 criteria only if the engineer of record is using that standard for this site.
- Steel grade and coating on the members being sold.
- Weld standard, such as AWS D1.1, if the shop cites it for this frame.
- ISO 9001 or IAS AC472 only with the plant name and the valid dates. Do not copy a badge onto this desk.
Open choices before you accept an alternative
Specification still open
Standard bay or a custom span?
A repeated module compares quickly. An unusual clear span needs project-specific engineering and should not be priced as the catalog bay.
Which height is the occupied one?
Eave height, interior clear height and transport height are three numbers. Write the unit, feet or metres, beside each.
Commercial still open
Per module or whole release?
An optional budget needs a currency and a basis. A per-unit ceiling is not a whole-camp ceiling.
Premium finish or a shell?
High-end, mid-range, budget or undecided is a buyer preference. It is not a rating this desk has verified.
Evidence still open
Whose drawing is attached?
The sheet should name the system in the quote. A generic reds10 page is not evidence for another factory’s frame.
What is excluded in writing?
If insulation R-value, fire-resistance rating or freight is silent, mark the line unknown before you compare totals.
