NorthBridge Sourcing Project Uses and Site Requirements

A brand search rarely states whether the building is a site office, a classroom, a camp unit or a workshop. NorthBridge Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. It does not claim authorized dealer status. The method labels below are comparison axes for the use you actually have.

Four unlabeled building methods in one comparison yard

Volumetric

Useful when occupancy must start soon after set. Ask for module weight and the crane lift plan.

Panelized

Useful when the road limits box width. Ask which trades close the envelope on site.

Foldable

Useful when several units share one trailer. Record both folded and opened dimensions.

Steel systems

Useful for clear-span workshops. Record eave height, bay spacing and door openings together.

Uses and the fields they add

Portable office row at a project gate

Contractor site offices

State headcount, meeting rooms and whether the unit is relocatable after the job. Floor design live load for a crowded meeting room is not the same as storage.

Classroom module with an access ramp

Education relocatables

Ask which accessibility route, restroom and fire-resistance rating the jurisdiction expects. A sales floor plan is not a school approval.

Workforce camp with kitchen and wash units

Workforce camps

Count beds, showers and kitchen seats separately from the sleeping module. Utility scope for water and power is often outside a shell price.

Workshop frame with a wide door opening

Workshops and storage

Clear span, eave height and a crane or forklift path change secondary framing. Purlin and girt layout should match the opening schedule.

What to confirm before the use becomes a quote

Give the project city or county and the code the authority having jurisdiction has adopted. IBC and IRC are not interchangeable with HUD Code. Cold-formed steel houses and hot-rolled frames can both be legitimate; the calculation set has to match the system that is quoted. Ground snow load in psf and wind speed in mph are site values, not catalog slogans.

Write the destination, road limits and who supplies the crane. A volumetric module that fits the highway may still miss the gate. A flat-pack or panel stack shifts labor to the site. Record the foundation interface: who designs anchors, who pours concrete, and whether the quote stops at the chassis.

Ask for insulation as R-value or U-value for the assembly being sold, not a generic brochure cell. If a fire-resistance rating is required, name the wall or floor that must carry it. Certificates such as ISO 9001 belong to a plant and a date range. They are items to request, not credentials of NorthBridge Sourcing.

See the inquiry list or send the use with the dimensions.

Turn the use into a factory request

Include quantity, destination and the scope you want priced. Shell and turnkey answers should arrive as separate lines.
